Quick Paleo Lunch Recipes – Full Flavored Chicken Burgers

This quick Paleo lunch recipe pulls out all the stops and delivers a gorgeous chicken burger recipe which would be right at home served with caramelized onions, salad, avocado slices or even steamed broccoli or zucchini spears.

We are combining ground chicken with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, onion and BBQ sauce.

Make sure you are using a sugar-free BBQ sauce, and if you can’t find one you can either make your own or use tomato sauce or another favorite paleo-friendly sauce instead.

We would advise chilling the patties in the refrigerator for half an hour before cooking them because then they’re less likely to fall apart. You can then cook them in a skillet, on a griddle pan or even on the grill.

Cook until the chicken burgers are white throughout with no pink remaining in the center.

Unlike hamburgers which can be cooked to medium-rare or even rare if you want, chicken must be cooked through so it is safe to eat.

Mix the chicken with the paprika, garlic and onions powders, salt, pepper, onion and BBQ sauce, using your hands.


Shape the mixture into 4 patties.


At this point you can refrigerate them for half an hour; this is optional but it helps the burgers told together while cooking.


Now cook the patties in the oil in a large skillet for 5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
